Let me just say... I LOVE THIS MANICURE! I'm actually very proud of myself, I didn't think I could pull it off. This was inspired by @pixiedust on Instagram.
Please keep reading for the tutorial and all of the polishes I used! Get ready for lots of pictures!

Day 5 Mani
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!!
I was going to do a new mani last night for Valentine's Day inspired by Miss Jen Fabulous, the link to her YouTube page is below, but my gradient from Sunday is still holding strong and I wanted to show it off!
In my Mani Must-Have post, I told you about the Orly products I used, especially my love for Bonder and Sec 'N Dry. This manicure was done Sunday night, so technically it's a 4-and-a-half day old mani, but as you can see... holding strong! No chips or dents, and the white you see on the top of my thumb nail is because I pick at it! Go check out my previous post for more review!
Have a royal day!

Valentine's Mani
Happy Valentine's Week everyone! I hope you all have wonderful plans for Thursday with your special someone, or at least some great anti-Valentine plans with your girls! Either way, this mani will work!
I'm really excited about how this turned out, even though I'll explain a couple changes I plan on making the next time I do a gradient manicure. I could also call this an equal opportunity mani, because I used all my favorite polish brands! For the how to and the polishes I used, keep reading.

Softball Love!
Let me start by saying I do not play softball. I played when I was little, but once they started fast pitch I was out! I'm sorry, but you want that little girl to throw that ball as hard as she can at me? Yeah, thanks but no thanks!

China Glaze Glitz Bitz 'N Pieces
I just bought China Glaze Glitz Bitz 'N Pieces in Glitz 'N Pieces. I am so excited about this polish!
It's a clear polish with a ton of black and silver glitter in different shapes and sizes. There are skinny black shapes, silver and black hexagons in different sizes, and more small silver and black pieces as well.
In this picture I layered two coats over Finger Paints A Heart for Art. One coat would have sufficed, but I like how thick it was after a second coat. It can be tricky to apply, but if you're patient, you can get full coverage on the nail. I highly recommend it!

Instagram Inspiration
I am a relative newbie to Instagram, follow me @jking423! I've been experimenting with nail art since October and found a Nail Art Challenge by @californails for January tagged #nailartjan.
It has been such a blast doing this challenge! It's challenged me creatively and shown me hundreds of other talented nail artists out there. From this, I've decided to start making custom false nail sets to sell on Etsy. I'm building the whole idea, but I wanted to share my work on this challenge.
Check out all the pictures after the jump...
